Review by hotel critic
Knights Inn provides an interesting blend of value and comfort during a stay in Auckland, particularly appealing for travelers seeking practicality without extensive luxury. The hotel offers the convenience of spacious, non-smoking rooms equipped with essential amenities like an electric kettle and free toiletries-a thoughtful touch for those longing for morning tea. The location is advantageous, as it sits adjacent to grocery stores, with bus stops nearby for easy navigation, although returning on foot after midnight felt safe with well-lit surroundings. The reception staff proved to be friendly and accommodating, effortlessly allowing us to extend our stay at the original discounted rate. While I appreciated the efficient housekeeping and the large, comfortable bed draped in crisp white cotton sheets, it is essential to remember that the lack of high-end luxury elements can be seen as both a disadvantage and a wise financial choice. In summary, Knights Inn presents itself as a reasonable option for those balancing budget and comfort, making it a solid pick for budget-minded travelers.
